The Festus JV girls basketball team handled the Fox Warriors at home Tuesday night 38-24.  The win gives the Tigers a 5-1 season record and was the fourth straight win for the team.

Jenna Oetting (10) only played the first half for the Tigers, but led the team in scoring with 12 points.  Maddie Welsh (10) was close behind with 11 points, and Abby Rickermann (9) netted nine points.

“I’m very proud of the girls’ effort tonight,” said head coach Brian Frazier after the contest.  “We were undersized against them, but we battled hard for rebounds.”

Next up for the Tigers will be a battle against the Hillsboro Hawks at Hillsboro.  The game is slated to start at 6 p.m.
