Reed & McMillin Secure Spots at the State Track Meet This Weekend

Caitlin Reed (12) and Abby McMillin (10) will represent the Festus Tigers at this weekend’s state track meet in Jefferson City.  Both individuals turned in top performances at Saturday’s sectional meet at Rockwood Summit. Reed equaled her school record of 11 feet in the pole vault.  That was good for second place at the meet. 

McDaniel, Watson & 4×800 Relay Team Advance to State Track Meet

The Festus varsity boys track team will be sending six athletes to the state track meet on Friday and Saturday in Jefferson City.  Saturday’s sectional meet at Rockwood Summit provided the opportunity for several Tigers to shine. Girls Soccer Drops 7-1 Decision to Hillsboro in District Play

The Festus varsity girls soccer team ended its season Tuesday with a 7-1 district loss to Hillsboro at Hillsboro High School.  The Tigers end the year with a 4-16 record. The Tigers say goodbye to seven graduating seniors:  Alexis Berrey, Miranda DeClue, Miranda Myers, Taylor Pantano-Singer, Paula Pina Alcantara, Emily Werner, and Madison White.

Football Program Helps with Fundraiser

The Festus football players helped gather multiple items for Otto Donaldson’s service project.  Otto was collecting items for the Ronald McDonald House in support of families that use the facility during their extended stay, as his family had to do for him.

Soccer District Game Postponed Last Night

Last night’s scheduled district soccer match between Festus and Hillsboro was postponed due to weather.  The Tigers and Hawks will try to play this afternoon at 4 p.m. at Hillsboro High School.
