Boys Middle School Track · FMS Boys Track Takes Second at Hillsboro

In a hard fought battle with Jackson Junior High, the Festus middle school boys track team fell 10.5 points short and took second place at Tuesday’s Junior High Hawk Invitational at Hillsboro.

“The boys performed very well tonight,” commented coach Tim Krysl after the meet.  “Nobody likes second place, but Jackson is always a challenge.  I saw some awesome personal performances tonight, one of which was Peyton Willis’ leg of the 4X800 meter relay.  That boy is as tough as nails.  He is going to be one fierce competitor in the years to come.”
