Tigers News · 2 Tigers Sign Letters of Intent


Two Festus Tigers signed National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers at the next level.

Volleyball player Bria Garmon signed a letter of intent to play Beach Volleyball for the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas.  Bria was named Miss Volleyball at Festus High School.  She ended her high school career with 1446 kills and 1459 the only player in Festus history with 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career.  She was a 4-time All-Conference selection, a 4-time All-District selection, 2-time Conference Large School MVP, and a 2-time All-State selection.

 

Cross Country and Track athlete Simon Ogle signed a letter of intent to run Cross Country and Track at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri.  Simon is a 3-time Cross Country team state champion, a 2019 state champion in the 4x800m in track, a bronze medalist in the 2019 state Cross Country meet,  an all-metro selection in 2018, a 3-time all-district selection, and a 3-time all-state selection.
