The Festus Middle School girls cross country team finished second place at the JCAA conference meet with 57 points versus Hillsboro’s low score of 41points. The Tiger pack was led by 7th grader Olivia Cole in second place overall with a time of 9:40. Olivia Gillam came in next with a time of 10:22 in 8th place, followed by her 8th grader teammates, Alyssa Collins (15th,10:39) and Katelyn Reece (18th, 10:39). The final Tiger scorer was Karly Manwarring in 20th place with a time of 10:53.
There were 58 girls in the conference race this year and five teams. The Tigers will race next at the Doe Run Invitational on October 24, 2020.
