Glaze Signs Letter of Intent to Play Football at SBU

Festus senior CJ Glaze has signed a letter of intent to play football at Southwest Baptist University next fall.  Glaze played both offensively and defensively this season for the Tigers.  He rushed for 64 yards and scored one touchdown.  He also caught 11 passes for 84 yards.  On defense, he was in on 16 tackles.

Two Football Tigers to Participate in Lions All-Star Football Game

Chase Cole and Logan Uding have been selected to participate in the 42nd Annual Lions All-Star Football Game.  The game is held annually on the campus of the University of Central Missouri.  Cole and Uding will become a part of a select group of players chosen to represent the east side of the state.  They will compete against

FHS Football Honors Student Athletes at Banquet

The varsity football team recently held its annual football banquet at the Elks in Festus.  A record crowd was present to honor all of the student athletes in grades 9-12.  The following individual honors were handed out: All Out Award–Braden Nolfo/C.J. Chase Cole Selected All-State Punter

Chase Cole (12) was recently selected to the Missouri Football Coaches Association Class 4 All State football team as a punter.  His average of 45 yards per punt led all of Class 4 punters.

Football Team Continues to Serve the Community

The Festus football team, with the help of the members of 1st Methodist Church of Festus, helped prepare muffins and sign cards for the residents at Pony Bird, the local police department, and the fire department.  They then delivered the items to the residents at Pony Bird and were given a tour of the facility.

Football and Softball Combine Forces to Help Community

The Festus football team partnered with the Festus softball team on Saturday to help collect canned goods for both the Ozark Food Pantry and the food pantry at the 1st Christian Church in Festus. The Festus Middle School also contributed a huge amount of canned food to the pantry, and the football team picked up cans on Saturday morning in many neighborhoods. They were

The Festus football program recently placed food collection bags around the area to help local scouting organizations.  The scouts are helping the local food pantry by gathering food for the needy during the holiday season.

The Festus varsity football team saw its season come to a close Friday night in a district contest at North County.   The Raiders put 20 points on the board in the first quarter, and the Tigers never recovered, losing 47-6.  The loss ends the Tigers’ season with a record of 4-6.
