Here is information regarding the state cross country meet on Saturday.  Both the boys and girls squads will be participating. JV Cross Country Boys Finish Season Placing Eighth at Clayton Invitational

With many of the top JV runners running varsity, the Festus JV boys cross country team placed eighth at Friday’s Clayton Invitational.  The race was the final one of the season for the Tigers.  Parkway West won the meet. The top Tiger finisher was Gabriel Brown (11) who placed 56th with a time of 20:28.98.

Varsity Boys Cross Country Finishes Third at Clayton Invitational

The Festus Tigers’ varsity boys cross country team raced to a third place finish Friday at the Clayton Invitational.  Festus finished with 139 points behind first place SLUH (98) and second place Clayton (126). FMS Girls Cross Country Ends Season With Victory at Doe Run

The Festus Middle School girls concluded their season Saturday by winning the Doe Run Invitational.  The girls won the meet with 34 points over second place Potosi with 53.  The Doe Run races by grade level, so there was an eighth grade race and a seventh grade race.  Both Festus teams won their grade level races.

Max McDaniel (11) has been selected as the October Athlete of the Month at Festus High School. Max is a junior at FHS with a 3.73 grade point average. He participates in cross country and track.
